Please vote for my project in NBC and Etsy's Creative Reuse Contest!

Etsy has partnered with NBC's Green is Universal Guide to sponsor a Creative Reuse Contest. Celebrity judges include Martha Stewart, Kathie Lee Gifford, Tori Spelling...wow. If you have a minute maybe you'd like to check out the entries?

I entered with my Mandala Room Divider and you can vote for it by clicking here. Check it out - it's a tutorial for how to make your own! I'm giving away all my secrets here - lucky you!

You will have to create an account in order to vote. But, it's easy and only takes a minute.

Here's how to vote in the Green is Universal & Etsy Art of Reuse Contest. By registering and voting you are entered for a chance to win a $500 Etsy shopping spree. Here are the steps:

1. Click Login in on http://www.greenisuniversal-reuse.com/
2. Click Register Now
3. Create your account and log in
4. Go to the Mandala Room Divider, scroll to the BOTTOM of the page and click on VOTE. (It is on page 15 of the Home Decor category.)

The Mandala Room Divider is made from 35 recycled 12" vinyl records. Each record is hand painted with an original mandala design. The records are linked together with reclaimed lamp chain.

Here's Chuck helping me put it all together:

The backs of the records are left unpainted, which makes it like having two different room dividers at once...one is painted and psychedelic, the other is retro cool record city:

You can also check out the Mandala Room Divider in my Etsy shop here. I'm offering it as a custom item at the flat rate of $40 per record, so you can order as many records or strands of records as you like. (Or, follow my tutorial and make your own.)

Thanks!

Do we have to post a comment to vote Christine, or does it just track clicks in?

I don't think you have to comment...I think you just have to create an account and then click the vote button. (I don't exactly know how it works, really.) Thanks!
