The Long Lost Guitar Photos from Art Hop 2006

I just wanted to post some pictures from the first year that I did the Alberta Art Hop, which was in 2006. This annual event is going on today, and lots of my crafty friends are there, but for the first time in four years, I am not participating! Instead, I am getting ready to go bask in the sun with an icy Coke and a good book, and later we'll be heading over to my parents' house for a BBQ with my Aunt Janet and Uncle Randy, who are visiting from Phoenix. They came over last night to see the house (which Janet had previously seen when she unexpectedly caught my episode of "Look What I Did" on HGTV). We ate chocolate cake.

Anyway, the reason I am posting these pictures is because they are from a roll of film that Suzie shot up when she was hanging out with me at the Art Hop that day in May '06, which she then lost and didn't get developed until nearly three years later! She had them put on CD and here they are, at long last. This is very cool to me because, you see, I actually sold that painted child's guitar that day, and had absolutely no pictures of it. So it is super exciting to finally see it again. I really liked that one! I hope that the little girl who got it is still enjoying it!

I'd love to paint more guitars. If you are interested in getting a custom psychedelic paint job done on your guitar, please contact me!

Here are Janet and Randy:

Here they are with my mom and dad:

And here is my cat! Hello, Johnny Teacup:

Off to enjoy the sunshine!
