Just one question, though: who is Bret Michaels?

Crafty Wonderland April 5
Come see me at Crafty Wonderland on Sunday, April 5!
Information from Crafty Wonderland:
This is a special show for two reasons: it's our 3rd birthday so we'll have some surprises...and that weekend is the Portland premier of Handmade Nation, the indie craft documentary, at the Museum of Contemporary Craft!
Faythe Levine (the filmmaker) will be at Crafty Wonderland to meet visitors and sign/sell copies of her book, also titled Handmade Nation. And we're having a special Handmade Nation themed DIY Table project! Some of the crafters featured in her film/book are going to be there as well! Read more about the film here: http://indiecraftdocumentary.blogspot.com/

Eggadelic Egg Ornaments
I've added a bunch of colorful, hand painted Eggadelic Egg Ornaments to my Etsy shop.
I blew out the contents of real chicken eggs, cleaned them, painted them with acrylics, sealed them with a clear coat, and attached ribbons for hanging.
I tend to have a hard time with proper pastels so my eggs are a bit brighter and crazier than your traditional painted Easter eggs. Each one is unique and one-of-a-kind.
Check out some other adorable items I found while browsing items tagged "Easter" on Etsy.

New animated web ad!
Check it out - my first fancy animated web ad! I had it designed by a great Etsy seller, sugarelli. It was cheap and fast and she was very helpful and willing to work with me and make lots of changes as I requested them.
This is something I've been wanting to do for a long time but I finally went ahead and did it when I saw Lana Kole's facebook post about offering free ad space on her new interior design blog. So I went for it! My ad is now up on nterior.typepad.com. I'm excited. Now I finally have an ad that I can use to do some more outside advertising.
Lana Kole makes really cool vinyl wall graphics like this amazing chandelier:

Some Orangey Goodness
One of my favorite blogs that I love to read from time to time (I really don't have as much time to spend reading blogs as I'd like) is called How About Orange. It's awesome. So, yesterday, I took a brief break from lying in bed dying of "the plague" (as I am doing right now) to catch up on this groovy blog, and through it I discovered a great flickr group called Orangey Goodness. I immediately joined and tossed some of my orangey photos into the pool.
This led me to discover this awesome coffee cup from Peacock Modern, which I am coveting:
I actually have several cups like this one - four green ones with psychedelic oranges on them, an orange one with cherries, and a blue one with a pear. They are so cool!
Let me tell you that Orangey Goodness was exactly what I needed to cheer me up after being sick in bed like this. I missed work yesterday and even had to miss Sister Diane's class at Trillium Artisans on "Attracting Customers Through Social Media." I'm bummed. I'm now going to go eat a nice juicy orange and go back to bed.

Giving stuff away on Posh Mama & Green Earth Journey
My Roman Record Cuffs were featured last week on Posh Mama (a social network) and Capitola Girl for their "Friday Findings" post. The theme was "Wearable Music." Jamie Daniels' necklace from the Trillium Artisans shop was also featured.
I also decided to sponsor their weekly giveaway, and just found out the winner is Shelly from joyfulgirlnatural. I'll be shipping here one of these Basic Black Bracelets:
I am also sponsoring a giveaway over on Green Earth Journey. It will be happening on March 23rd. Check out the blog for more info, you could win a Mod Mandalas Coloring Book!

Some pictures from the Buckman show
That's what my set-up looked like at the Buckman Art Show and Sell this last weekend.
I was actually sick in bed all day Saturday and couldn't be at the event (luckily it's the type of show where you don't have to be there, but I probably would have sold more if I had been).
I'm still feeling under the weather but am off to work today anyway. In other news, the Etsy class at DIY Lounge on Thursday night (co-taught with LeBrie) went really well. I am still teaching the blogging class once a week at Duniway Elementary. It is pretty cool. I have to use typepad for the blog in order to make it password protected, and I just really am not liking typepad! Oh well.
Suzie went to the Virgin Islands and is due back tonight. We are trying to recruit Emie to become a Vignette, because Kat's work schedule is, unfortunately, making it hard for her to come to the gigs. Our next show will be April 11 at the Ash Street, Chuck's third annual birthday bash. Also playing: Cootie Platoon and the Oblivion Seekers. Mark your calendars for a great rocking night!
